No one was complaining about the don capers system in 2010 when Charles Woodson, nick Collins, and tramon Williams were making plays all game. In 2016 he has a bunch of duds on the secondary and they get torched. Capers can't turn water into wine.

They needed DB's, they got DB's. Hopefully these guys are better than the Rollins/Randell tandem. But if you think about it. How can they be any worse?

Look at the past history to project this class. First pick will either bomb or develop slowly. Second pick will have the potential to be a stud and some mid round pick will be a starter. The rest of the drafted players will be cut over the next few years if not immmediatly.

Really killer Karin a creditable draft magazine. How many of those writers were a GM for a Super Bowl winning NFL team? The Packers have been in the playoffs the last 8 years with their "poor"scouting. How have the Viking's faired with the scouting department that gets the most out of their draft?

I am disappointed in G.B. drafting three running backs and three wide receivers. Unless they beat out the current RBs and WRs, GB can't keep them. I would have preferred GB drafting a big run stuffing ILB and perhaps another OL.

I'm not a Ted T. fan when it comes to his draft choices but I thought he knocked it out of the park this year with his combination of Free Agent signings and Draft Choices. If you notice, every one of his 10 draft choices ran the 40 in under 5.0! That's a huge upgrade on speed. Also, The two defenses backs are a lot bigger than the normal Packer DB's besides being faster! Another big upgrade. Overall, when you compare the guys they lost, with the replacements the signed or drafted, there's a high probability that they've upgraded at every position lost except maybe OG (Lang). But I even like what they did there too because Lang would have been overpaid. For the first time EVER, I would give Ted T. a solid "A" this year considering the combination of Free Agent signings and Draft Choices he made!! Pretty exciting looking towards next year IMO!!

Can we trade our scouts for the vikings scouts? They seem to get a lot more out of the draft than we do!
I bought a creditable draft magazine and the last 4 Packer picks were not even listed!

draft is a total guess for everyone.

    very dull watching.

99% is fill and talking heads guessing.
ask us in 3 yrs what grade is and ends up
of 10 picks. my over/under is 5 guys
    that will make season roster.

Ted Thompson and his team know much better than we fans when it comes to evaluating football talent. He has a proven track record of success. I think this was another outstanding draft in terms of potential. Let's wait 2 to 3 years to decide if that potential was met.

    Horrible draft.
    Needed a RB first!
The defensive scheme the Packers use just chews up players, spits them out, and finishes close to dead last every season.

A lot of quality potential, but no 'obvious' draf-day superstars - so an enthusiastic B. ☺

No doubt they deserve and a.
    for their draft.
