As a backer of the initial campaign, I applaud the high production values and professional and creative integrity demonstrated to date. Naturally, I am more than happy for the work to take as (indefinitely!) long as required in order to create the highest possible quality final product.
Moreover, were subsequent volumes to be created, I would wholeheartedly support them.
Your work to date has been exemplary and inspirational: Thankyou!
As a backer of the main kickstarter, i'd expect that my main "contribution" to this would be giving you guys more time (aka me being OK with the delay of the product i payed for).
I'd love to see the chapter but i have pledged as much money as i can back when this KS was running. So i could not give you more $$ for this. But i'd expect receiving the chapter nonetheless, if you delay the product further for this work (but i'd also be ok with that delay in that case, as said).
I'd certainly prefer it to be included in the core book. Standard caveat of as long as it does not impact too much on the due date and cost.
So long as the cost is. It excessive. As for the time, my preference is quality over just getting it done.
I agree with blackseth99. If the price where small and if it didn't impact the deadline too much.
An extra campaign for this chapter would have to be for a small cost. Like $5 - $10 seems reasonable for a chapter (20 pages, $.25-.50 per page). Much more than that and it would need to be longer or super dense with content or something. The original book (which looks fantastic!) is running about $.31 per page (70/200 pages). (I'm on a budget! Lol)
My question is, would the support and that price point give enough response to fund the chapter? I would support the new chapter wholeheartedly if the value is there! (I'm sorry to say, I'm a min-maxer. Lol)
Would this be a new Kickstarter campaign altogether, or would you somehow be reopening the old one?
Also, will this Kickstarter also have stretch goals, and if so, how will that affect the schedule?
Would be really excited for this.
