The question isn't whether it connects but rather how the connected data can add value? There are a lot of "connected" technologies that do little more than connect = no added value. If showing I was meeting fitness goals could result in a decreased co-pay maybe that would tip the scales. Without some reason, I'm just exposing more of my personal data for little / no value in return.

Same problems ... DNA, Credit Cards, location tracking .... what are we giving away, the store?
