Shane palombo or course he was all star in track basket ball and foot ball. I never heard of a football player so threatened by other schools Kaplan heard Shane they were afraid. He could do it all he played many spots . he was wanted by colleges since he started high school he has been in the news papers from middle school to high svhool more than any person i have know in my lofe. He has two books full of records his score his new paper articles. Im sore i went to school with all and no one could top Shane . i never seen no one running so fast and looking back at the ball then split second sewn was about to be tackled buy a big guy and Shane jumped and one foot on the guys helmet jumped off his helment like he was was jumping over the moon caught the ball one hand the ran down the guy and ran all the way made touched down im sorry but not drew nor anyone eles could think and jump as hogh and long as Shane nor as fast on the feet.

Shane is the best player in Erath. Knowing to catch 3 TDS in single game and also had 3 int s in one game. Played defense of back and returned all kicks. He was an all around star. 8-2 on the season 2- 60 point 2- 50 point games.

Bubba! A great QB who could rthriw on the run with great vision. Plus, a great heart!
Larry played only 9 games his senior year due to hurricane cancellation of games and almost had 1000 yds rushing. He also played defensive back on all games in the late 50s. During those days most players had to play both ways. He had the greatest breakaway speed and could cut on a dime to break away from tacklers. Took Erath to the qtr finals against St James where they lost 7-6. St James went on to win State.
That list is hard to pick form because all have different skills that they showcased every Friday night!!!!
But Derrick Fourroux had a super career at the next level to coincide with his high school statistics!!!
