Statics are numbers. They don't take an action. Sometimes they are meaningless as the don't count important things and connect things, that almost always correlate well, as they might be the same things. So no one should DO ANYTHING about them, but to look and see if they are relevant or not. We connect things all the time that are not connected, sometimes if the statics disagree you can see a problem - there is were they are most useful.
