There is no way to 'universalize' access yet contain costs at the same time with the Federal gov't making all health care resource allocation decisions. Those who currently have coverage will be negatively affected, and those who do not cannot be constitutionally required to purchase anything as a condition of US citizenship. The US needs MORE of a fre market to improve quality and to control costs, not less. Medicare as it exist now is bankrupt and the Left wants to EXPAND it?
..I voted for "Absolutely, Yes"..What they need to do is READ the bill and not pay off the Senate If it was a good bill why would Nebraska and Louisiana get such HUGE pay offs ???
I am so mad that 'Rock the Vote' Young People are stupidly, blindly supporting this & all Obama Policies. It is like the Pied Piper leading the kids over the Cliffs of Dover. Our Education System is producing a bunch of dummies.......
This bill is the height of corruption and power hungry mongers who have no regard as to who is their boss. We need to unite and overcome Washngton and drive these lunatics out of our Capitol. There is no reason why we need to put up with this nonsense since the American people have clearly spoken.
Wake up America.
Can anyone say, "BIG BROTHER"?????
Our current system is a huge Ponzi scheme where younger workers pay for the old and retired. Our so called crisis isn't a health care crisis. It is a bad government crisis. The government promised to take care of people when they get old. That promise got politicians elected, and now they can deliver on that promise. Their solutions is to take over health care so they can continue to make promises that they can't deliver. Health care is not free. There are consequences when consumers are shielded from the cost. We need to get back to free market solutions...not more government.
