No flash player, no multi-tasking, crappy OS = less useful than a $300 netbook.

Glaring screen, pricey and limited content = not useful as an e-reader

Why didn't they put Leopard on this with the option to run this lighter less useful OS in an instant on software interface? Is it crazy to hope for this in the 2nd generation?

Oh, and computer screens suck for e-reading. This is the whole point in buying a device with an e-ink display. If you wanted to read on a glossy screen though, you could do it for free with Amazon's software for PC/Iphone.

I don't want one, I hate AT&T and I just don't see alot of point in this device, it's not for me..

A 64GB, 10" iPod touch w/ 3G capabilities for $829 + $30 a month for a shoddy data service? And it still doesn't support flash? Not too appealing. At the lower end you have a color e-reader that plays video content you've bought from iTunes for $200 more than a Kindle or netbook.

Definitely not. The hardware is ok but not great, and the OS is BS. No multitask? No flash? That crap doesn't fly on a phone, forget on something like an actual computer!

Was definitely excited about the announcement. I'm in the market for an e-reader at the moment. Was leaning towards a Kindle but this is making pause to consider... As with the iPhone and iPod, I think I'll wait for future iterations though.
