My vote went for Matt Bomer. Has anyone even seen him in his show white collar? He could easily play a charming guy yet is only in love with one girl. He would make a perfect Dex. Plus
Peter Facinelli looks old. I could never ever picture him as smart, charming, loving Dex.

I haven't seen anything Peter Facinelli has been in, other than Twilight, so I really don't know how well he could live up to playing Dex. Same with the other actors. As far as looks go, I always pictured someone like Matt Bomer (his hair style is spot on), but with darker skin.
Colin. I see Dex as a breathtaking, really sexy man, with a raw masculinity. And Colin has that. I like Peter, but I think he's winning due to all that twilight hysteria, and I think of him and Bomer more as a cute, boy next door way... I think Dex is more complex than that.

Peter is not Dex!! Please don't just go with the most popular person. When Rachel stands next to Dex, she's gotta feel like she's with the most gorgeous man, but not a pretty boy. I truly hope that you go with someone with more of Matt's look, but even Collin would be way better than Peter for this particular role.

Colin hands down is the best choice. He's got experience on the big screen (sorry Bomer) and he's got more range than Facineli (sorry) without being tied up
in twilight series.
The thing is, Dex is hot but he doesn't know that he is hot.
Colin looks like too much of a bad boy to play Dex.
Peter looks much more modest.
But I vote for Colin because I would love to see him on the big screen for 2hours ;)

No Vivien I disagree I am almost 30 and I would much rather see Peter play Dex and it has nothing to do with Twilight. I think he is the best looking and most down to earth.
i totally agree Leslie...I think Peter will bring in alot of 13 yr old viewers....but who has really read the book? 30 yr olds! and Rachel's character is a 30 yr old, Matt is best choice of those three. Peter is not that cute he has a bird face, and I didnt know who he was until a 14 yr old told me lol.
Hi emily! just found out that something borrowed the movie is coming out! I really hope you get matt bomer for dex! I'm not really a fan of twilight so I didn't really know Peter Facinelli until I googled him. He just doesn't seem right for the role. I have watched Matt Bomer in Chuck and I think he would be perfect. While Peter Facinelli would bring a lot of twilight fans, I don't think he's THAT popular that a nonfan like me would be drawn to the movie by him. But then it should all depend towards CHEMISTRY especially in the RomCom genre. I just hope that this film does not turn out like LEAP YEAR. Had potential but just didn't click.. I think it was because the trailer really sucked and there wasn't enough marketing done..
that explains it...i'm not a Twilight fan I thought that movie was totally dorky, tho I could see adolescents liking it. no offense, I just thought it was corny.

who is this Peter guy everyone is voting for, I've never heard of him, and he totally has the wrong look...he is not NEARLY attractive enough to play DEX! MATT BOMER is the hottest guy on the list. He is definitely the RIGHT choice for DEX!!!!!
