Should the online profiles of people who have passed away be permanently deleted? (On Facebook, Twitter, Friendster, and other social media)

    i voted yes,kaya nga its a social media,how can it make such social relevance,if they are dead......better to update accounts if its inactive for quite sometime

    People will remember you better if they have a visual reminder of how you lived your life. Leaving it untouched will ease the pain of those left behind. Communication though one way, could be psychologically healing.

    profiles of people who have passed away in any social networking should not be deleted or removed (permanently). it should be kept private for the sake of their love ones who still wants to remember and give respect to his memories. the profile status can be change in reference for any (future) verification but the rest of his profile should be left untouched. he may be dead but not forgotten.

    #4 dead or alive, much better to conduct periodic clean-up of inactive accounts.

    account left untouched for a decade should be deleted...wheww such along year ah....they are just crowding the site

    I believe in it is in the sovereign of the family themselves... we could not force them to delete such names... anyways.. what has an inactive or deceased account to do with anyone ryt???

    Out of respect for the dead their account should be deleted..... but their memories will lasts forever....

    The profile should be updated but with a D.O.D. as reference upon verification.
