Even in Animal Kingdom, "all animals are equal".
The greatest injustice and corruption against our youth and our future I've witnessed in this country is:
    1. Primary School: I went to school and got my FSLC Like other Nigerians.
    2. Secondary School: After my Primary School I enrolled into Secondary School like other Nigerian with the same curriculum and we came out with the same WAEC Certificate like other Nigerians.
    3. Tertiary Institution: With my FSLC and WAEC Certificate I wrote the same Jamb and I was told that to get my course in University i needed JAMB score 200 while other Nigerians with the same Level of Education (FSLC and WAEC Cert) just needed Jamb score 150.
    4. I struggled harder and achieved my 200 score and gained admission with the people that scored just 150 while my brothers that scored 199.9999 were denied same admission.
    5. Work: We all graduated with the same certificate and same grade and to find Job I was told that my cut off will be 75% while the same person that you allowed to enter school with score 150, that wrote same university exams with me and succeeded with the same grade needed just to score 45% to get the same Job with me.
    6. Doing the same work and being paid the same money and you also toldl me that my score must be higher than his for both of us to be promoted. if I have same grade he might be promoted while i might not
    7. As I performed my duties I now want to site companies in accordance with what i spent years and learnt in school about "Proximity to raw materials, Market, etc" and you still forced me to site the company where there is no economic sense or benefit thus also turning me to a mediocre.
This is a policy that encourages mediocrity and unless this is eliminated in this country and the qualified people always used for jobs, companies sited in the right locations, Nigeria will always perform below average.

Our Biggest problem is that Nigerians do not believe in Nigeria, our people needs new orientation to know that Government can never do everything for us. we need to help the government, we need to think of what we can do for our country rather what our country will do for us.

I believe the biggest problem in Nigeria ever since is; THE COMPLETE LACK OF NATIONAL PATRIOTISM. We are more loyal to language than we are to Nation hood.

Add a comMay The Real Enemies Of President Goodluck Jonathan Please Stand Up By Anizor Nze

    By Anizor Nze

There is no gainsaying that the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan have been beset by all manner of troubles which increase by the day. The government aptly reminds one of that timeless work of fiction by Anezi Okoro, ‘One Week, One Trouble.’ Each week, sometimes there are more than one in a week, presents ample opportunities for the people to have a good laugh at the president’s expense. Some of these comical opportunities arise out of what Mr President said, but some also are generated by actions of his aides or the leadership of his party. It would have been of little worry if Nigerians just laugh and get on with their lives. No, they laugh and then wonder how we came to this sad and sorry point. Mr. President has constantly alluded to ‘detractors’ who are working tirelessly to bring his government down. Although he may right, and he has a right to his opinion, it is possible he has been looking in the wrong direction. His suspicion of the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, may be the reason he has not found any effective solution yet.

The journey to the successful treatment of an ailment begins with an accurate diagnosis.

A few instances may suffice. The Nigeria Governors’ Forum is a peer review group of state governors in Nigeria, partly modelled after the one existing in the United States of America. Naturally they have had cause to oppose a few federal government policies which in their opinion did not bode well for the states. Such policies include the Excess Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund. That was really where their ‘power’ ended. The federal government could easily co – habit with them and not lose much.

When it was time for them to elect their leader, agents of the federal government foolishly turned it into a referendum on the popularity of Mr. President. They heated up the polity so much that almost every Nigerian thought the battle was between the NGF Chairman, Governor Amaechi of Rivers State, who was seeking re – election and President Goodluck Jonathan. The fact that the President is not a member of the NGF and thus could not be a candidate for their leadership was lost in the noise. When Amaechi beat Governor Jang to the position, it was taken as a defeat for the President. Of course, they made things worse by recognising the loser, Jang, instead of the winner, Amaechi. I wonder how any person could have expected the colourless Jang to defeat Amaechi in that NGF election, especially when the governors have had a taste of Amaechi’s leadership. Every single person who misled the President on the NGF matter, and who is still misleading him, is his real enemy.

The aviation authorities grounded the airplane belonging to the Rivers State government a while back. Although the aviation authorities have the power to so do if in their opinion any laws were contravened either in the purchase or use of the said aircraft, the time and the manner in which the Rivers State jet was grounded left a sour taste in the mouth. To make matters, the seizure of the aircraft had no appreciable impact on the governor, who many felt was the target, since he can easily charter an aircraft or fly commercial. It was a totally ill – advised move which did nothing but belittle the respected office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Everybody who played a part in that saga is the real enemy of Mr. President.

The Boko haram sect started long before Mr. President gave any thought to being the president of Nigeria. His predecessors gave adequate attention to the sect and kept them on the run and in hiding throughout their own tenures. But when President Jonathan became president, the common refrain became that the sect was a Northern attempt to ‘topple’ him. Probably based on this erroneous counsel, the government failed to pay the s

Change is not an easy thing, the man wants to make a change but we have several forces against him, hence it seems as if he is not doing anything. let the old block just give him a chance to perform, the man is a silent operator, does not like going to the media to praise himself but to allow his works speak for him. Only time will tell and we will all reap from the benefits.

Believe me or not, there was a very faithful time, when I used to adore this guy called Jonathan. When he incidentally became the president of our beloved country, felt so hopeful that his administration was an ordinance from God, but I later realised that it was written that “Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ Misleading everyone!” Not until he starts ganging up against the people of my country, I came to that realisation he was nothing but bird of the same feather, with the Obasanjo regime. Mischievous politicians!
So in my judgement, I believe four years is more than enough for anyone who call himself Mr. President of giant of Africa (I’m not sure what makes you giant, your roads, electricity, water), to achieve the least. I can't find any good thing, published about this ridiculously good-for-nothing government has achieved. Even If I ask the stupid idiots, what has he achieved? I can bet with him that he's achieved absolutely nothing.

Anyways, you know I have been forever very cool, with all badly managed governances in Nigeria. Despite that fact that we all know they are running our lives, I never said nothing against any government, and that was where the problem is, the more I let them get away with all their atrocities, the more they are encouraged to steal. Although, I‘ve waited for so long to explode, and that was my fault. Now, if you mess up with me, and continue deleting my post, preventing me from voicing my opinion, then you will be walking on a very sizzling hot coal. Stop me from speaking out is like making an attempt on my life; which will drive me increasingly nuts.
Also, denying me the right of speech; means you disrespecting and violating my human right. So, if you start playing some stupid games then, I will prove to you that although you and your thugs stole from our treasury, but I have the intelligence to bring you and you thugs to ruining. Play me with some stupid game, and then I will play you devastating music to the ears of your administration. I will demonstrate to y’all thugs what the brainpower is made of, by forcing to go extra mile with your regime. The true criticisms will not only prove you unworthy to rule Nigerians but show how ridiculously your cursed presidency has put my country under your spells. I will create an environment where human right is freely expressed, where everyone in Nigeria and non Nigerians will have freedom of speech; to voice their opinions with no political harassment; definitely it will be devastating to you and your entire thugs. You bunch of maggots!

I don't care who you are or what you represent, you are a common flesh like any other Nigerians, nothing makes you special, involving with vote frauds, rigging national election and giving yourself a title no one bestowed on you would only last for 4 years, gives you no superiority over any human being. You don't shelter us, neither do you feed us, nor did you contribute a penny to any of our educations, instead you decided to ruin our lives. So you have no right or any sayings on what we do and say. We all have freedom of speech; it's a natural right, no one can mess with us. God is in control,so fear not and make a different, corruption actually is a serious issue and it not as easy said to stamp it out, becos costumes, tradition, or cultural, i mean the believe system handed down in different ethnic/religious back ground input into about 160 million people genes that wealth is power, and wealth cannot come easy, except by corruption, and your people, (ethnic) want you wealthy, even after much suck on your pay, i mean your salary and you too want to continue in power, where stakes are high and everywhere, mind you foes, i hate corruption too, the forces of corruption must be carefully look into. So get 9ja out of this good corruption, we so enjoy till these day,let tribalism or ethnicity first of all give way, societal group of believing in so call social union to mess up others who do not belong must be check, every forces, army, airforce, navy, police, costume and immigration, should have equal ethnic recruitment to balance the power force. As for some north 9ja group religious believe in religion of force, as already in their genes, that man might is through conquest, forgetting the dynamism of life, they want Arabian civilization that is being manage by western civilization. please lets believe one nation bound in freedom where peace of God reign and let-go tribalism, or ethnicity think well on every religious teachings to avoid to few elites using their acquired whatever knowledge from east or west to drive us to disunity becos of their high ego the assume, the are the greatest, while they are nothing, we are equal, believe it or not, wealth is like all intoxicants, it fools the sensory nerves in the brain, giving you false greatness as God watches with patience till the end wish must surely come, i leave it at point. In conclusion, ethnic/religious play a major role in the life of 9ja problem, as understand and use by the elites that are the political leaders. Education intoto in whatever dimension is still the solution, so free education for all, but una go gree? becos if the are educated well, wealth acquiring while or after governance becomes another issue.God save 9ja, in Jesus Name, Amen

God bless you your excellency Mr president, thanks for this wonderful upportunity to talk about this issue on ground about our nation Nigeria.
Sir firstly i will like to start by saying that all the above mentioned uptions are the major big and biggest issues respectively that we are
    facing in our Nation Nigeria.
But power, curruption and north south dichotomy. follows as the case may be.
Your excellency Mr president. i will like you to know that the head out of the part of human body dictate what will bring about the pictural discriptive of the remaining entire body structure either beautiful , handsome, elegent, cute, or totally ugly. Sir mr president it is the output of you and the entired cabinet of our political leaders that have ruled or rulling us presently that we are having the product of today.
Sir all you leaders give birth to the type of the society that we are having today. sir take it or live it. both religious and political leaders of this nation Nigeria. gave present and past gave birth to the kind of the nation we are now.
Sir lets go back to the drawing board i raed small stories from the world book about the begining of a state in the United state of America named Pennsylvania long tme ago. and i read my bible. sir i saw soo many things that shows me and let me know that those that head and lead in one areas of capacity or the other leading the majorities of the poeple will DETERMINE THE TOTAL ALTRIBUTE FUTURES AND CHARACTERISTICS put on by their poeple leading. why becouse poeple are being lead by some lay down rules and regulations, policys, and constitution. Your exceelency sir. in the place where 89% or 90% of heardearance to the rule of laws, where there is those % of tranparency, accountability, LOVE. and truth. to the course of our commision. Everybody stay by his ofice and streetly heardered to the course of his office, sir it will be like a medicine. it will authomatically waterdown the whole place. every body will live right in as much as their need and rights are not being deprived of. And those we are looking up to are not always doing what they said to the novies that is not good. Mr president you have a leasingning hears which qualifies you to be an outstanding leader among those that lead. it will earn your generations to come a life time ticket of honour and wealth if only you allow you self to realy do it outside the real CENTIMENT. AS IN concentrating only on your people. in the East. be a leaders of all and be faer to all.
So going back to the discussion. Power. if you and your entire rulling cabinet, THepresidency, Senators, Ministers, governor and the rest can go back to the drwing board with some level of sincererity. soonest we will have a new Nigeria. IT can beging to happen now.
Talk about power. our resources that all those in power are taking outside the country are too much........... i need help to get system and schoolarship.

our problem from colonial masters is corruptions and has never been insecurity.

But the issue of insecurity is a current trend in Nigeria. We work and walk in Nigeria with one mind and committed to one one soul in our prayers and plays, giveing joke freely to uplift our soul after a hard and peaceful day work.

But what is the trend? insecurity of life and property in the hand of one uneducated and unleaded group? You will say they have professors among them but those professor refuse to learn and be lead on core human right.

let fight insecurity and corruption will sit right. Because is now very difficult to borrow money from the federation account for personal or family business. the re-curative way is through terrorism and insecurity.

This fight as gone beyond boko group (the group is no longer control of their activity, let look again inward), is now elite globalized activities.

Our geatest problem is corruption. Every other problem mentioned came becuase we are corrupt. No power because we are corrupt, our insecurity, we are told is a direct result of corruption. In a less corrupt society, who cares whether the President comes from the North or the South?. If he is not corrupt, every section will feel a sense of belonging as he will not favour his section of the country. And must he have a minister from every state? When he indeed choses a minister from every state, he furthers corruption, especially now he is obliged to pick some people he hardly knows or trusts- all because that persons represent that section of the nation. Little wonder the President tells us "there is Boiko Haram in my cabinet". Ethnic/Religious tensions/Indigene/Settler dichotomy is a manifestation of corruption. And so is the so called "Federal Character", where even promotiion in government service must be by "Quota" and not "merit". No nation can ever progress with corruption as we have in Nigeria. The sad note is that our government treats corruption with kid's gloves. Some said this is because the process of chososing our leaders is corrupt, and only the apostles of corruption gets there. Even if the man elected by chance is not corrupt, virtually all his "political friends" would be, and so he ends up hampered or hindered. By the way where will he find "clean men" to work with?. Is it in PDP or ACN or CPC?. Should he choose an Elumelu or trust a Lawan to head any panel or task force? Where will he find honest petroleum or power minister? Honestly the future is bleak. We have been crying for God's intervention. OUR GOD WILL COME AND SAVE US. HE SAVED THE ISREALITES ONCE, AND MAY HE HELP US. Who knows if the President or his men will ever read this? HONEST MEN NEEDS TO SPEAK OUT MORE

As i have always added, corruption is the bedrock of all other issues, once corruption is dealt with many other issues would have been dealt with.Just check it out, Nigeria have enough resources to tackle power problems, security, douse off tensions, diversify its economy and enrich its populace, but corruption has bedeviled the nation. We need a re-orientation of values in our homes, religion, schools, public and private settings.

The fundamental problem which we have as a country is that of disunity. The north/south dichotomy is the basis of all other problems we have as a country. If we solve the problem of unity then we can easily deal other issues.

There is a time for the removal of fuel subsidy... Definitely not now. You must deal with the issue of unreliable electricity supply before you remove the fuel subsidy. Power stability is the major key to Industrial growth, SME development, alleviation of mass frustration, access to technology and improvement of lifestyle...

A man must climb a ladder by its steps; Any attempt to jump the steps on a ladder may lead to his fall... Please do the first things first; we really had high hopes in you. God Bless.

the biggest issue of concern in Nigeria is not corruption, Power, Over dependent on oil, insecurity etc . The major thing we have not gotten right is Justice! Justice is the process of comparing the ideal with reality and balalcing the differencial with Justice! Reality+Justice=Ideal. It is high time we stop comparing Ideal with Reality without Justice. God Bless Nigeria.

It is unfortunate that nowadays so many Nigerians go to higher institution of learning for the sole purpose of getting a degree, which will qualify them "to get a job" after graduation. Can you imagine what a terrible shock it is to a man, who has been enjoying fat income to suddenly find himself out on the street? The experience could be shattering. The biggest problem in Nigeria is poverty. In my opinion, if poverty is dealt with (by creating opportunities for all not just the elite and those who are familiar with the corridor of power) all other problems would drop dramatically overnight, including the issue of Boko Haram. Any other "solution" is just like chasing shadows.

If the issue of massive corruption at all levels of government in nigeria is drastically reduced, the financial resources that could have been laundered in foreign banks will be used for investment in power generation and distribution as well as stimulation of other sectors of the economy. this in effect will have ripple effect on jobs creation and economic growth. hence, corruption remains the greatest challenge to ecnomic prosperity in nigeria.

Mr President, I think rather than posting quick quick you need to be giving more detail on how to are achieving what you say. Without the detail it does not tell the electorate whether your plans are achieveable or sustainable. The people need reassuring that they are being heard and their concerns acted on, so far I don't see that you are reassuring them in any way whatsoever. The People of Nigeria are good people and deserve to know how their government is planning to tackle the issues as without this you will simply be seen as ineffective rather than being given credit for the areas you have made progress on. Good luck Mr President your task is great but you need to communicate better with your people.

Mr. President, the problems of developing nation (of which Nigeria is one) is grossly that of UNDERDEVELOPED citizenry. Right now, if you put all other things in place which includes Power, Security, Over-depenedency on Oil, etc. and there are not good heads to manage them it all amounts to nothing. Imagine a nation full of underdeveloped minds, thieves, rogues... when a leader emerges, one from these categories would be one of such leader. So the focus should be on developing citizens. Citizens are willing to take up the challenges to go "solo" but their major constraints have been POWER to be independent. To to really aid self-reliance in the youth sector, there's need for power stabilization. Privatization of the power sector cannot solve this becos stakeholders in the power sectors have personal gains in the importation of generator and power-plants that they import into the country... It's really complicated but then it has to start from somewhere. Again our politicians are not doing their thing; there's a great need for a POLITICAL ACADEMIC to be setup in this country. Doctors go thru a lot of training becos they handle lives, why then can't our politicians have a series of real training to be able to cater for the needs of the citizens??? POLITICAL ACADEMY is a wayforward to; a vision for move the nation forward... God spoke it into my mind when I was praying for the political status of the nation and I'm on it. God Bless You and keep on doing your thing... we the good people of Nigeria are praying for you.

Nigerian athletes' abandoned in the city of Weinheim, near Heidelberg in Southern part of Germany . According to source 64 hotel rooms were been reserved for the athletes since 26 of July 2011 and the money for all this rooms was approved by the government. The first athletes arrived on the 29 of July 2011. Apparently 30 out of 64 rooms have been occupied but only 16 of those are athletes that have reported to their respective training facilities.
One comment in a telephone conversation with a source was: "We have being training with just insufficient facilities, we were told that 2 of such big ones were reserved for us, but now we only have one!" Allowances have not been paid ever since to the athletes and their officials. For some reasons a #5 African top ranking Nigerian athlete and 4 others were dropped back in the camp in Abuja.
These athletes will represent our nation in the upcoming all African games in Maputu, Mozambique. They must at this stage be in their best physical and mental states but instead undergoing mental and psychological wars with top government and responsible officials.
The question we are asking: Why do we have 16 athletes instead of 64 in the hotel/training facilities although source said that the money for 64 rooms had been approved?
Who are those other 14 persons, occupying hotel facilities paid for by the government, with the Nigerian tax payer money but not reporting to the training facility?

Nigerian is blessed with young and gifted Athletes. The misuse of entrusted power for private benefit by responsible government officials has always been an obstacle to the pyramid of success and a battle many of this young talented Nigerians are still not prepared fight.
Facts have shown that we have lost trust and hope in the governmental system. We have moral decline in the aspiration of our people to invest more engagement in the fight against primitive corruption. The incident above with the implication of Nigerian athletes is a clear indication and symptomatic to muddle-headed concept of governance.

An objective research shows that many sport officials are not even in touch with the significance of a well organized camp facility for their protege; some don't understand the reasons of their departments or the function of such bodies. The truth is that many of us grew up with a political mindset, laid back in Nigeria, in which it is proclaimed that our Government or Organization don't care for the basic needs of the people and that we don't have the right to hold them responsible or asking them to face personal consequence; a profoundly dysfunctional system in which we operate our sense of thinking in a way in which it is completely different from that of a functioning society. These facts have propelled the reasons why those officials responsible for our athletes in Germany, do not understand the importance of caring and taking care of their proteges, since the significant of such way of thinking (to take care of ourselves and to see reasons why we need to fight for a common purpose) was never laid back and has never been the impact of our day to day life, in the social politics of our country. The blame of our dysfunctional System can therefore not be laid on individual persons, be them government officials or the president himself, instead could be laid factually in the political and social culture, inducted in our cradle by our political system.
If we continue to deny what is in steak for our people or deny making first priority be the problems facing our people, then we shall always fail to understand the seriousness behind the facts that government officials must have the quality to responsibly act on every issue concerning our athletes; in this case . If we all stop our engagement in the lowest segment in fighting corrupt government officials, we could as well stop complaining about a dysfunctional government because for these same reasons athletes that are the proud of our nation

Hmm, I av spent years thinking on the way we can archive success in this country and make it a better place to be but i discovered one blockage stone that is preventing the good work of good people of this nation which is CORRUPTION.
It not only the people in the office that are corrupted, even the goats and chickens in this country.
Over 70% of Nigerian are living in poverty and Government does not known the course, and unidentified problem can never be solve. but today, i came out with one of the courses.
"ASSOCIATIONS" is one of the courses of poverty in this country, imagine the association of pure water sellers in NIGERIA. All this association prevents poor citizen from free trading with little amount of money, they forced people to join their association which is not constitutional. they will asked them to come and register with the money that more than the capital they have and this prevent common citizen from trading with little amount of money which can provide him/her daily needs, The funniest part of it is that only those that called themselves leaders of those association are benefited, they exploit the poor masses to enriched their pocket. see corruption in the civil society which constitute social problem. Mr president, Nigerians are not lazy, they can live on their labour but what can u do to defend them from these modern robbers that prevent them from making their ways out of little.
My RECOMMENDATION is that government should forbid compulsory association and announce the punishment attached to the violation so that poverty can reduced in NIGERIA as well as INFLATION. THANK YOU.

the issue of power is never the least of nigeria's problem but one of the most pressing. in my opinion, the biggest problem Nigeria is facing is more of principles because if one knows where he or she is heading nothing can seem to stop that individual which is what the entity Nigeria lacks. the government should develop an agenda that may seem to define the country's destination and set agendas to suit the direction we seem to be headed to. i might offer some suggestion: 1; to become one of the top 20 economies 2; to have the best living conditions in terms of politics and economics

  • Felix Eneh - 13 years ago

It's no surprise that power issues and corruption top the chart in this poll. I voted for power, although I would have preferred multi-selection options to single element options. What do I mean by this? In my opinion, corruption, power issues, police officers setting illegal road blocks and harassing road-way users, kidnapping, armed robbery, bad roads (and many more) are the reasons a good number of people don't feel very comfortable staying around (in the country) when they visit.

If these devastating issues were considered and effective solutions implemented, I feel confident to predict that the country would take leaps - not just steps - to becoming one of the best nations in the world.

We're regarded as the giant of Africa. I believe that action - not just mere boastful words - would guarantee our position as the said giant of a continent. It's high time we earned that respect, lest everything we say or do amounted to nothing... and innocent citizens remained on the receiving end of the ruination.

Let's prove it by action, not speculation or claims! That's my stance on this whole development plan.
    Long live Nigeria!

I suggest this poll but re-modified and reduced to just this 2 Questions:

    1. "WHAT PROACTIVE ACTIONS CAN BE TAKEN TO REDUCE CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA TO 50% WITHIN THE NEXT 3 YEARS OF MR. PRESIDENT'S TENURE IN OFFICE?"

    2. "WHAT MUST WE DO TO DIS-CENTRALIZE POWER AND RETURN NIGERIAN TO A TRULY FUNCTIONAL FEDERAL SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT, WHEREBY THE VARIOUS FEDERATING STATES WILL HAVE A SAY AND CONTROL OVER THEIR GOD-GIVEN RESOURCES, WITHIN THE NEXT 3 YEARS OF MR. PRESIDENT'S TENURE IN OFFICE?"

Oya, my people, wetin una think for the above matter?

  • James Avwara - 13 years ago

Corruption is at the core of every other issues affecting our nation and the citizenry.

It is endemic, a cancer that has eaten too deep into our Social, Religious, Political, and the Economic psyche that no Nigerian - not even the President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan - can change the situation. Mr. President may have good intention for change but he is 100% handicapped to even nibble at it...after all how did he get to where he is today.

Fact is that the ruling Party membership is like what our Yoruba speaking brothers refer to as "Para po" The ruling party is like a club of self-serving fellows with like minds and common vested interest. And it looks to me that the bulk of the top echelon of the club are not Nigerians - because they don't behave Nigerian in terms of display of Patriotism and concern for the Brotherhood of the State .

Mr. President, as I see it is fighting against the wind if he is thinking of fighting this monster called CORRUPTION in Nigeria. My advice is for him to resign from the ruling Party and join another Political Party that has a human heart and untainted, virile Nigerian blood.

Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a good man with good intentions. But that is where it stops.

Sir, our problem begins with corruption and power; if you get just this two, you score 1st class in your leadership and every Nigerian will testify for the good job well done. Thank you. Chris.

  • Our major problem is corruption and insecurity. People are free to commit crimes without been persecuted and the police force is not helping issues at all. The police force should have a standard. Why hire secondary school drop out to be police officers and put them on little amount of Salary. A man with a gun is not a man to reason with especially when he is hungry. Let Nigerians do away with the unqualified police officers. To be a police officer, one should have at-least a first degree in the university or polytechnics. Even technical schools or individuals with professional skills should be considered in the police force. I have been to a police station when the police man on duty can not even introduce him self or even explain a particular situation. So tell me who is deceiving who? Start from the police force and get those with out the proper qualification off the police force.

One more thing Nigerians have to look into is our judiciary system. How many government officials have been held accountable for embezzlement. We need change and that change must start from having an independent police force that will persecute any corrupt government official and throw them out of office immediately they are found wanting for any crimes. The EFCC is not operational as its been controlled and handled by those controlling the under-ground activities of this country. Let this be heard and written, the day we have an independent police force in this country. Crime will reduce drastically and corruption will be a thing of the past.

As an Urhoboy fashion designer based in the United Kingdom, Nigerians need to have the Urhobo Motto - Faith and Unity. I am doing my part in the Unity of countries. Fashion Rules. Your name on your county flag t-shirts, dont forget your language 2.

Sir, by turning attention to the educational sector, there's hope that Nigeria shall become a developed nation someday. Education has always been the disserminator of modern change and development, but most governments ignore this important fact no wonder they failed.
A recent survey in the United States of America has it that out of every ten(10) people picked at random in that country, it is rare to find one person living without a good qualification. But the reverse is the case in Nigeria; in every ten persons picked at random in Nigeria, more than seven (7) are living without a good qualification. This a clear difference between the developed and developing nations.
I strongly recommend that in addition to the building of more universities (schools), the most important problem boardering the educational system should be addressed else all efforts at being developed through education will be unfruitful. The Nigerian educational system has been operating an incomplete curricular for years now, and this is the most important factor responsible for her underdevelopment despite all investments in her economy.
Modern curricular operated in developed nations contain three major components, but the one operated in Nigeria is made up of two components. The third component has never occured to be a problem in the country, but research has vindicated that it is the one important factor that has inhibited development of the country. Although the society may provide all the facilities needed for quality education of here citizens, the real aims of education may never be met if her citizens refuse to be educated. This has been the case for decades now, because although we've been providing quality environments and inteligent teacheers for the educationton of our citizens, the quality of education offered in the country has refused to compete favorably with the ones offerred in developed nations.
If we spend a little more effort to provide an efficient education management system for the country, we will succeed at reducing the cost of education in the country, eradicate unemployment and poverty, eradicate corruption, subsidiize edcuation, improve the quality of education, increase our Gross Domestic Product etc, because generally, all of Nigeria's problems revolve around this major probelm, which is lack of a good academic management system in the country. It is supposed to be the role of every govenrment, however very few have ever given toughts to this.

Your excellency sir, I thank God for what HE is using you to do for the youths of this country and I congratulate you for the resilience you have put up in the face of obvious hostilility from politicians both within and outside your cabinet. I will like to suggest some issues which I think you should address.
Your approach to rule of law is beautiful but remember Muritala Mohammed, this country is not ripe now for a gentleman president. You need to apply the carrot a stick. After every quarter you need to conduct a performance measurement exercise on your ministers based on the target that have been set for them. Those that are not meeting up to 95% should be replaced in the next quarter to ensure that they are always on their toes.
you need to concentrate on agriculture by inviting foreign participation in this area, to stimulate food supply. We have alot of arable lands all over the country. let us invite experts to discuss this issues and you will be amazed at what you will find out that is possible in Nigeria.
In the area of security I think it is about time you overhauls the entire police force. Make strategic changes. You can see the replacement of the commissioner of police in Abia what magic it did to the kidnapping issue over there. Any state with obvious security issue must have the commissioner changed as a first step while we begin to look into other causes.
Education needs a thorough overhaul, government should allow the missionaries to come in and manage the schools to restore the disciple and moral values that have been lost. Once the right values and morals are inculcated I believe the students and lecturer will tow that line.
Corrupt leaders must be seen to be punished and not accomodated, no sacred cows. I know its hard for you to do as you want to please everybody but note that as the president good or bad you will be held responsible. You cant please everyone but stick to the truth and act based on the truth.
The health sector is in a mess, you need to partner with international NGOs to assist us in basic drugs for malaria, infant motality. Once the right morals are inculcated AIDs will be obviously curtailed.
Look around you the moral decadence is so high that is why people do things anyhow in this country today.
The military needs urgent overhaul from the top hierachy. You are the president of the nation, but today what is happening in the North makes it look like they are not under your control. You need to surmon all the traditional rulers and governors and stamp your feet on the ground, if they dont conform to the rule of the land you impose emergency rule. Sir once you are standing on the truth, God will be with you dont fear anybody, take far reaching action. Remember Idiagbon didnt stay long but he is remembered for the WAI and all that. Go ahead and make the mark light up Nigeria. Invite Foreign Experts to thoroughly look into the challenges at PHCN and get a true son of the land ready to work as a sole administrator ,we have alot of sincere people doesnt matter where they come from get them to act as sole administrator in PHCN till the place is turned around.
God be with you and bless Nigeria.

Good day sir,Nigeria's problems are many, may be u can start by dualizing our roads. Creating more universities will only mean more jobless graduates. Massive development is urgently required in the agric sector, appoint people with the tecnical know how. Your government is very large and expensive, please urgent cuts are required here. Nobody has been jailed, shot, or hanged for corruption, so it Will not stop. Our brothers in d North are still not educated, so more universities is not the solution to the problem of education. Create urgent jobs by educating these northerners. INDUSTRALIZE NIGERIA AND U HAVE CREATED JOBS. Goodluck to you sir, God help and bless you. LONG LIVE NIGERIA.

I think we all need to understand and also know from where all these problem started.... it all began on the 1st Oct. 1960 when our slave masters made us had a president being ruled by a prime minister, what a fluke.... and till today undoubtedly we are still living in the same shit of the British- brutish - cunning- masterminded - rubber stamp- dictatorship rule even though we physically a blackman sitting as our leader...well I will always pray for my physical president.. but I wish I can have a chance

    With due respect sir,
society vices have been there right from day one the earth was created, uninterrupted power supply serves as a vital tool to move ahead of vices already discovered and those yet to be discovered. Do a painstaking job on power, Nigerians will surely use the grace as a window into greatness as soon as possible.
