Although what I tweet about is mostly personal I would love to know how to use twitter for my business. I am new to my business and twitting so I am just unsure what is appropriate.
I've had some excellent experiences on Twitter and get great business results because Twitter allows its users to build relationships on warp speed. What could take weeks or months on other forums, takes hours or days on Twitter because it's so instantaneous. In fact, I do so well with it I created a class I call Twitter Basics for Business because I had so many folks asking me how it works.
I love Twitter for business-- I think it's a must.

Would you consider adding Twitter address to your comments area? I was able to click on the websites of the commenters but no place to click for their Twitter addresses.
This is a great question, Wendy. I mostly use twitter as a personal and business platform. In terms of business, I use it to promote my blog to those interested in health & fitness, as well as invite my followers into my personal world beyond twitter's 140 characters.
Using Twitter mostly for personal use, I have the opportunity to connect with my followers, as well as learn so much from so many great people outside of my career circle. The networking, friendships, and connections I've garnered from Twitter, are priceless.
Confession time: I'm a heavy tweeter. It was hard to choose my main use of Twitter because I use it for business and personal and to talk directly to my followers. And even though I'm a heavy user, I'm still trying to figure it all out :-)
WendyY this poll is right on time. This question was heatedly discussed during of my mastermind call this week. I'm looking forward to finding out how the majority use twitter.
I'm curious to see how many people will take the survey and what the results will be. I haven't used Twitter much for business, however, I've gained customers by Twittering, isn't that neat? ;-)
Poll results are interesting, I see Twitter is used mainly for business purposes by people taking this poll. That's not surprising since as you make positive social connections, the business comes organically. It's fun and productive on all fronts. Thanks for asking the question!
