Wow! Congratulations to our TWO bravo and challenging leader JUSTINE TRUDEAU and Notley. You both did a amazing job. It is the right time to make this decision.
"We can prove that a strong economy and climate action go together, or we can choose one over the other and fail on both." "That’s why the Trans Mountain pipeline was approved and it’s why it will — it must — be built."...Notley.

I totally agree with Shane. The only other companies capable of building & operating the pipeline are TransCanada & Enbridge, and after the slaughtering of Northern Gateway & Energy East by this government they are scarcely going to step up to save their vacon, are they?

Great news.Federal govt finally got it right.
    Get the line built.
Make a profit on the investment.
Allow Cdn. oil to bring a better price.
Allow Cdn. oil cos to make a profit and to invest.
    Facilitate job creation.
Now all they need to do is to put Horgan and his band of no goods in their place.
Can't believe I'm congratulating the federal Liberals on a job well done. Life is full of surprises.

Sad that it came to tax dollars to save the project. We pay the price again and will not see any saving in our gas tanks. They should have spent the money building Canada’s first federal plant to make fuel to sell to Canada gas stations. Lower the BS prices we are paying and actually help people of this country for once. You don’t have my vote next election and I’m sure many share this view.

    Thanks,

    The tax payer.

I support the pipeline. I do not support the taxpayers money being spent when the company would have built it if the government had not been so weak and quiet. Alberta and therefore Canada needs this pipeline.

“So just how much money has flowed out of Alberta to Ottawa? A lot. Between 2000 and 2014, on a net basis, Alberta’s individual and corporate taxpayers shipped an estimated $200 billion-plus to the federal government. That’s what left the province, less what the feds reinvested here. other province — including Ontario, with three times Alberta’s population — even comes close to matching this province’s contribution to the federation.“

Wow this is definitely one of the most excellent and great decisions the federal government has ever made! We cannot afford to sell our oil at such a huge discount anymore!

I have no other choice with trudeau having my head in a head lock, than to agree. Trudeau failed Canadians trerribly by himself forcing me and all canadians to foot the bill. We are now like China & Russia big brother will do all the planning taxpayers do all the lifting. What a disgrace fo our country and our position in the free world. I am ashamed.
