You specifically mention Teksavvy in the article and then don't list them as an option on the poll? Absurd.

Nope, I will never choose big guys such as Bell Rogers again. They are shameless company that only keep increasing the prices secretly. We are paying too much money on their so called "reputation". Stop being under control of them, we have so many better options other than Bell or Rogers. I unsubscribed Rogers service and switch to CIK last year. Reasonable price with ok serice, no much to complain. I want to transfer to their fibre internet, but seems YMMV.

The problem with internet in Canada is that the market is too fragmented and there are almost no standards compared to the rest of the modern world where high-speed fibre optic internet is available everywhere for reasonable prices.
I am lucky to live in a building in GTA area where CIK Telecom is able to put in their own fibre network. To fight the big proprietary ISPs they have introduced a 1000/100 plan Fibre plan for $25/m. I am lucky to have gotten such a plan and If I would have waited for the big guys to come in I would have paid over 5 times the amount for the same type of internet.
My parents, for example, live in a small town in Ontario where their only cable internet provider is Cogeco and the prices for 15/10 internet is $65 monthly and the internet cap is 95GB a month. Outrageous pricing for slow internet speeds

You mention Teksavvy in your post, but then don't put it in your poll?? I hope that was a (huge) oversight and not intentional??

Where is Teksavvy????
Teksavvy is best in Cost & Speed & Custmor service

Teksavvy is one of the largest independent ISPs in Canada with a much larger customer base than TbayTel or Ice Wireless. Why are they classified as other?

How about primus/Costco and lightspeed (in BC)?
Any feedback? Want to switch from Shaw to save some $ as long as quality doesn't suffer. I am not a gamer, just Netflix streaming with family. Thank you for feedback.

Had to vote other too. If your in Midwestern Ontario check out Wightman. It's in Wellington county. Some of there service area is new fibre optic to the home. Local customer service that's awesome too. In the fibre area we get 1 Gbps download with 50 mpbs upload. Unlimited download too. Prices are good and on par with Eastlink and Bell, the local competition.

I've been using eBox for several years now. I always get the advertised speed, no downtime and REAL techs, not a call centre in India. I almost never need to call because it just works. If I do have a problem it gets fixed, unlike Bell and Cogeco who just try to get rid of you when you call. I'm so happy with my internet service. Oh, and the price is great too.
Another happy Teksavvy customer here voting 'other'

If 30% are voting "other", you need to reconsider the list of options. Teksavvy is my choice for speed, price, and service.

Teksavvy Is my other option.

Another vote for start.ca, get speeds, fantastic price and the best customer service team I've ever dealt with

Start.ca - based in London ON, but available also in GTA. Fantastic customer service, very affordable and reliable for unlimited plans. No BS and no extra fees.

Teksavvy isn’t an option? They deserve more than “Other”!
