As far as I'm concerned, including Starlight is bad enough...but justifiable at this point. Including her while EXCLUDING one or more of the TRUE (read: original) Mane Six is nothing short of a cardinal sin.
CMC DID NOTHIN WRONG!
It used to be the Mane 6 and Spike. Now it’s the Mane 7 and Spike (Starlight counts just as much as the others at this point!)
@xonxt I guess I just imagined all those episodes about Starlight then. Silly me.
I think the case is for The Mane 6 + Starlight (kind of the Mane 7 at this point) + the CMC's + Spike. All of these characters have had one or more episodes particularly centered on them and I can't think of any other characters for whom that's true. I suppose you could make a case for the Royal Sisters and Trixie (who's on the Mane Team in my heart!)
