I love both red/red and white/white, but last season with color rush, the stodgy traditionalists in charge of uniform policy (Clark Hunt) missed an opportunity to make a simple tweak to modernize the look without completely revamping (à la Jaguar helmet disaster). The red/red with a simple change: yellow numbering with a white border. Would've made them pop a bit for color rush, providing a minor, still-classic upgrade to energize the fan base. I know I know: if it ain't broke don't fix it... but sometimes it pays to change the menu up a bit to get more people interested in the restaurant. But of course, you don't have to look beyond Clark Hunt's little boy haircut to believe that he really doesn't like change. Shame really, the Chiefs would sell SO many alt uniforms if they would wear them in games...
