How about some affordable Parking places for low income People like me. I have not been to down town for years and years as I can not afford to Park there at the present rate and spend some time. New Park means spot for drunks and dope pushers. Use some common sense to attract People to down town and Not chasing them away.

    No, No more family parks.
I see city council led by Michael Walters decided at the last minute of council session to drop a very restrictive version of the smoking bylaw. He said his constituents demand smokers smoke in the next province and not any where near their neighbourhood. Im sure that opinion has to be of all his constituents and not just the noise makers.

With Michael walters version there was one place you could light up downtown and it was behind a large dumpster in the alley behind an old boarded up window on 103st. Throw in some more family things downtown and there will be one place left in the city of Edmonton where we could legally smoke and I wont mention where that is because silly council will probably target that place too.

Pusher, pimps and homeless to loiter around and hassle people. Coined family parks more like crime parks and passed out drunks. All these socialistic council members do is think of ways to spend, so their department heads can keep increasing their annual Budget money year after year and then comes another 3-5% tax increase. When did you ever hear of any municipal department like fire, police, public works every say we don't need more money. It's has to stop! Citizens don't have "UNLIMITED INCOME" for your convenience to play with and create new agenda's.
