When you see the police in establishments, why would it cistern you. This simply means that the crime activity is slow or low. Hmm this is a good thing I would think. I’ve need police response in the past and , trust me 4-6 min response time. Pretty impressive. Edmonton city police have one of the fast and accurate response times , they have taken very extordiary steps and very cutting edge technologies to ensure public safety.
Public is you and me.
If I see them sitting and talking, I to often wonder as you do, but if you take note often they are sharing imformation about issues. That are of interest in your neighbourhood. Yes, it could be about something else, but these guys are a tight group network.
Response times , are very important, seconds are counted, and mean a difference.
There are considerations to be calculated here, your safety in them moving from point A to B in Edmonton often is because of traffic congestion, and a lot to do with the traffic allowing the police to move.
Edmonton city ifurstucture, and roads are more to blame than the police, if you want to improve things get on the city to plan things out in this aspect. Get the public to behave in the correct manner when police and fire need to get by.
I would rather see then waiting to respond, the so busy they can’t respond.

Trust me response times could be worse. Time over distance and correct imformation of location is critical.
So, response times, have you ever taken the time to actually wonder when an emergency happens, what and how many thoughts go through their minds, each ones a mystery till they get there, then the proper response considerations,
These guys took this job to help you out, trust me if they could be there safely and apropreately in a blink of an eye, they would.
Infurstucture, of the city’s planning and the publics to help out. is needed to close some time gaps.
I don’t like dealing with the police, it’s awkward, at best, why because they are being accurate, deatailed far to much for me to be settled with.
I would feather them get there than not at all, and nobody hurt in the process.
So don’t think that coffeehouse, meetings are bad, each officer is closer to where they need to be. When needed.
And no I’m not a police officer.

Why do I always see 4 or 5 police vehicles sitting inside Restaurants dount
shops during the middle of the day. I gone with friends to eat and witnessed them
their before we arrive and still their after we leave. I never see EMS or Fire off eating
at eating establishments. The appear to get long dinner breaks during paid shifts.
