Wow I can't believe you got rid of one of the most complex characters on this show. We know she had her problems and did a lot of mean things to people but we also started to care about her and Devon and it looked like it was finally going to be a good power couple. Who decides what characters to keep and which ones to get rid of. Summer is a waste of space. If they have her hooking up with Billy, I think I will throw up. That is as bad as Liam on The Bold and the Beautiful getting everyone pregnant! Why didn't you listen to the fans. If you continue to not listen to the fans, there won't be a show to write for anymore!

What is going on with this show? I read not too long along there was going to be a shake up...but I had no idea it would be this bad! Who is writing these stories?
I mean...Nick and Phyllis for a quickie? Bringing back Heather King who is a bad actress...Tessa (a good singer but not actress) needs to go off alone somewhere and hopefully Mariah doesn't go with her! And finally Hilary dies! What?! I agree with others...it should've been written in to have her baby(on the show) and become a family.
Somebody needs to make some better decisions and pay to keep the ones who are... and have made the show!

I think the show has been going downhill with the characters lately... WHY would you kill off Hilary?? We grew so attached to her! The only one we loved to hate. What a complete shame. Ridiculous! I really haven't cared when I've missed some shows, it's getting that bad. RIDICULOUS!!

I am wondering what is wrong with Y&R. They keep letting their principal characters go especially after they have won awards for them. Next will be Eileen Davidson. She will be a big loss for the show. They should expect their ratings to go down . I am still upset that they let Billy Miller go as well as so many others.

I wish they had left the door open for her to return at some other time. Her death is too final. They could have a going away party for her to say that she is going out of the country for a while or something like they did with Summer, Noah and Reid.

I am really upset that you killed off Hilary because now it leaves no chance of her role being reprised. You could have sent her off to some clinic like you did with Phyllis. That way, it would explain her absence. She was a brilliant actress and deserved more. For a change, you could have had a happy ending and shown her life with Devon and possibly another baby. I don't know what is happening with all of these young characters being added and you're not holding on to the old. Ashley will soon be gone and it looks like Victor's part will be diminished or gone. Your loyal fans don't want all of this newness. Keep the oldies, but goodies and give them the salaries that they deserve.

I was really starting to like Hillary she had a lot of spunk... i don't like Shauna she needs to take some blame, and Lily i believe her guilt will haunt her...
