  • Casey McGinness, Covington Catholic – He found the endzone four times in the Colonels’ 40-7 win over Ryle Aug. 17. He finished the night with 118 yards on 13 carries.

  • Alex Maxwell, East Central - Maxwell carried the ball eight times in EC's 38-7 win against Lawrenceburg but he finished with three touchdowns and 57 yards. He also went 4 of 10 through the air for 75 yards.

  • Reid Jolly, Campbell County - Jolly caught three touchdown passes in the Camels' 34-3 win against Dixie Heights, Friday. Jolly's touchdowns were from 73, 75 and 9 yards out. He finished the night with six total catches for 203 yards. As a team the Camels had 322 total receiving yards.

  • Cooper Schwalbach, Highlands – He finished with 109 yards on 18 carries. Schwalbach also had the season-opening score for Highlands as he ran in a touchdown from 32 yards out to put the Bluebirds up 6-0. Highlands converted a 2-point attempt, beating Cooper 36-7.

  • Nathan Bezold, Bishop Brossart - The senior threw 11 passes, connecting on five for 54 yards. He led the team in rushing with 10 attempts for 65 yards and two scores. He also caught a 21-yard pass. On defense, he led the Broncos with five tackes (two solo) including a tackle for loss and had a fumble recovery.
