I'm not in the hive, but I understood when you came to her defense in one of the last episodes. I think the jazz artist was attacking her because he wanted to sell a few albums, and getting at her was the best way to do so. Exposure creates expansion, whether positive or negative exposure. But its the reason why she stepped away from the spotlight to begin with, to avoid this type of negative publicity. While I don't agree with the whole late shows thing (as we've already discussed at nauseam), attacking her character when she paid you, and you ended up doing whatever the hell you wanted to do anyway, is just harmful and hateful for no reason.

I'm just going to be brief. I was always on Lauyrn Hill's side. IMHO, she made such a brilliant album, that after a decade, I didn't want her to make anything else. When she won all those Grammys as a rap/hip-hop artist, I was and will always be proud as a woman, hip hop head and a contemporary.
