There are many good causes. Undoubtedly, support to pediatric cancer is one of them. However, supporting the Berkley/Royal Oak Hometown Heroes Salute to Service game is also a very good cause. Support to our veterans, service men/women and the local heroes giving their lives, day in and day out, to keep our home and country safe is also a great cause. Please keep up the voting, support to either cause is a winner!

It is great to see all of the votes for these games. The Royal Oak/Berkley game may be a rivalry game, but they are also playing for a greater cause as well. This is their Hometown Heroes/Salute to Service game. They are remembering 9/11 and all of those that have or are serving our country in a number of different ways. So remember that this game too has special meaning for many in our community and Service members from both cities will be honored, so extra exposure on Channel 7 for our servicemen is also a worthy cause.

So, i dont get it, over half of the Southgate student body was voting all day for the Southgate/Taylor game yet somehow the Berkly/Royal Oak game mysteriously comes up with well over 2000 votes throughout the day literally starting at around 3 pm today.
