I read the results of the of the votes and once again people that buy us. brand cars that are us. made don't spend as much time on line as the civic corola hyndai folks most people that buy Toyotas think they are all made in us. almost 33% of Toyotas brands sold in us. are imported and those assembled in us. have almost all the parts built by non us. companies . the way I see it if you live the usa you support us. companies. your car or tuck you drive shows your patriotism .I think gm does not know that 80% of their buyers buy because its us.

Having dealt with Suppliers who moved products to Mexico and saw the problems it caused the Company I was working for I wouldn't want a GM that was produced there.
We currently Full Time RVers and seeing the issues the RV Industry is having with products manufactured in China, it would be off my list also.
I personally have had two (2) Chinese Aluminum wheels fail because of bad casting leaving a pin hole in the rim, one upon delivery while the second didn't show up until three years and 35,000 miles later. So I'm presently worried about the remaining two wheels. At least I have a good TPMS so I'll know if a wheel starts to leak.

I was considering buying a Cruze hatch back until I seen that it was made in Mexico. It's hard enough to swallow when I see a high content of foreign source components but I draw the line with being made in China or Mexico.

I was ready to purchase my 2nd GMC Terrain because it was made in GM's highest rated plant in Ingersol Ontario and then GM moved this product to Mexico and now I have a hard time deciding what to buy, I love my Terrain and it was one of the 1st to come down the line in the first year, since that time I have had not one single thing go wrong with it. So I think I will drive till it drops.

    Cheers,
    Mike
