I am planning on collecting Social Security fairly early based on family history. It seems males in my family start suffering from rapidly progressing Alzheimer's in their mid sixties. No reason to delay if chances are you are going to die fairly young. No reason for me to delay for my wife's benefit as she has 3 terminal diseases and will not survive into extreme elderly age either.
