Can you be both pro-war and pro-environment?

Just how does one fight a "green" war? Do we start bombing people who live under regimes we don't like with hybrid predator drones? Do we burn them with vegetable-based biodegradable napalm? All kidding aside, no matter how "green" our war materiel is, the scale of destruction in modern warfare will always be destructive to the environment, particularly since the strategic targets that are typically aimed at during the so-called surgical strikes tend to contain materials which are highly toxic when burned.
