Totally misdirected anger on the kids part. Does the kid think black people who commit crimes shouldn't be punished? Probably not, but how does disrespecting a symbol of our freedoms help the cause? Blacks commit more crime per capita,maybe we should look at the disease,not the symptom. I agree that the coaches should have told him it was disrespectful,(they have first amendment rights too) but not that he can't do it as a form of protest.
