I fill in love with this show from the very first episode not because, of the main characters Abby and Trace but, because of the story that it brings. I like the show but some story lines are pretty far from th e books. Trace & Abby are supposed to rock solid. I think that needa to happen. Build a NEW & grand inn. The old one was too messy.. Too far from the books. Let things move at a better speed. Please rrenew the show. I lime several of the short season shows on Hallmark.

The dynamics between the cast /family members is fantastic and the storylines believable. In my view this all makes the show compulsive viewing.

Love the show but not sure I can take endless years of Trace having to decide whether to tour or not... they’ve done that same storyline two seasons in a row now. Also I’ve noticed the 3 sisters are all whiners...have you noticed that, all of them. I used to like Bree before she started to act like a sourpuss in every situation, especially with Martin. He says one thing to her and she has some snarky response every time. The series has turned into one where every woman has major hangups and insecurities about men, except Grandma. Look at the men, they are all bumbling innocent labradors. These women apparently have major hangups over the nicest guys you’ll ever find in the history of the world. Look at Jess. Pouting endlessly and wracked with insecurity with a guy who adores her unconditionally. All supposedly the fault of Mick the father figure - who seems like a great guy too.
Bottom line - would be nice to see stronger and more independent women.

I adore this show because it’s messy, it’s loving and it’s filled with real life. Mick and Megan’s letter was the best thing for the episode. The kids needed truth. I really wanted Trace to stay, but things don’t always work out. I really hope it’s renewed because Abby and Trace aren’t done.

I love watching this show for a number of reasons. But a few that stand out the most, is that its a great family show that deals with real life issues like all families, plus its a nice alternative series to watch in the off season when not a lot of other shows are on in the fall/winter/spring. I also think, because its on during the summer into early fall, you will keep a lot of your viewers and ratings high, as it also gives us something to look forward to that time of year. I would say the only negative to all this, is that they took it off regular TV stations and put it on the Hallmark station, which maybe why ratings and viewers from season to season fell. some people like myself may not have Hallmark, there for have to stream it which isn't always a smooth process and you have to wait sometimes days before you get it. Other then that, I look forward to next season, and to the rest of the series in hard cover as I've started reading it this summer.
Renew if the writers can stop hacking up Sherryl Woods story. Abby and Trace should be planning a wedding by now

Chesapeake Shores captures the essence of a growing loving family in present times who has a series of rough patches but life happens and Family is strong. Bring on more Seasons because it’s a true success. All ages watch it and I am 67 retired with 3 children who had 7 grandkids and I can identify as can my family and friends. It needs to go on????

I like the show, but the audio is horrible. Why can't Hallmark learn to make videos with clear audio. Please do something about this flaw. Heartwarming stories are ruined with bad audio that loses words, even with closed caption. Bad

I love this series and have read most of the books! I just hate the thought of waiting until August! I really wish it would be renewed and to get it on by Spring and then follow up in the fall with another new season. Thanks for lightening our hearts when it has become such a vicious world!
