A vote with a little extra! I do feel that the story is headed towards following the white rabbit. But I feel like there needs to be something else that happens to convince your character. Something else affirming to make it seem more reasonable. Like another trusted contact that doesn't totally confirm, but gives a some sort of connection to the voice on the other end. Or maybe some other motivator. Maybe a more compelling reason to risk the rabbit hole. It wouldn't have to be an "or else." Maybe it's introducing some personality trait of your character that leads him to that action. I love these B. Love that you invite people in to your stories. It's awesome. Thanks for that.
