There are assorted simple, one-minute guides to the three Pro Rep options on several pages at http://votingbc.ca - check out the Questions and Answers, Voting Systems as Gardening, or Tongue in Cheek Voting Guide pages there.

Come on, people! Democracy takes work! Take the time to investigate the options for yourself and don’t bail because you don’t immediately understand it.

It's really not that complicated folks. And there is plenty of information online at Elections BC:

I do not understand who and how the MLAs will be selected to fill the proportional representation seats. Will they be candidates that ran but were unsuccesfull or will they be people selected by the party.

Also, there are questions that will be only answered by a committee or committees after the referendum.

Must be problems with the mail. I haven't seen it yet.

Question 2 is incomprehensible. 3 choices that didn’t mean much to me, and then l can vote for which one of the 3 choices is 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. The expression ‘dog’s breakfast’ comes to mind.

I wonder how those voters whose first language is not English are doing on this referendum.

I voted yes on Q1, didn’t vote on Q2 at all, and enjoyed walking my dog over to the nearest mailbox to mail in my ballot.

It’s easy to understand. FPTP is straight forward whereas PR choices are convoluted. 2 of these systems have NEVER been used anywhere in the world. This is a weighted referendum to keep NDP/Green in power

I do understand the ballot. You vote one and done. The other crap down below is not even understood because the people pushing PR don't even know. Anytime a Politician says well explain it later you should bail and go with the devil you know. FPTP.
