Sean Stratton, Ludlow – He broke the school’s all-time rushing game rushing record Friday against Paris when he had 335 rushing yards, breaking 325 held by Justin Blackburn.
Joe Buten, Highlands – The sophomore running back made the most of his two carries as he finished with 38 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the 55-14 win over Boone County.
Samari Miller, Newport – He caught two passes, but they were big ones as he hauled in touchdown passes of 42 and 80 yards. He finished with 122 yards receiving as the Wildcats won 41-32 over Holmes.
Caden Browndyke, East Central – He made kicks of 42, 34 and a game-winning 32 yards in the 9-7 win over South Dearborn in the second round of the IHSAA playoffs.
Casey McGinness, Covington Catholic – He ran the ball 31 times for 167 yards and a touchdown as the Colonels beat Campbell County 28-0.
Jeremiah Lee, Cooper – He ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns, adding 78 passing yards as the Jaguars beat Henry Clay 23-7.
Tyler MacDonald, Bishop Brossart – The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns passes to close out the regular season with a 20-14 win over Pendleton County.
Logan Castleman, Beechwood – He had two touchdowns – 6- and 13-yard runs – to help Beechwood beat Newport Central Catholic 33-21.
