The ELD was put in place so there would be a “level Playing field” and pushed through by the ATA lining the pockets of congressman.. It has nothing to do with safety.. The accident / fatality rates have increased. It is unconstitutional to be tracking all truckers 24/7. The government does not track illegals, child rapists or murders, but the American Truck Driver is being tracked. The HOS would not need to be cheated by anyone if the rules would accommodate the different sectors and diversity of the Industry. We need flexibility and it needs to happen soon!!

If the guvmint would quit sucking up to the big corporations and work with the owner opp’s that built this industry!!! This industry would stand a chance against this growing problem!!!

Driver shortages? That's a joke. How about the big trucking companies take care of the new drivers and there will not be a shortage. This whole industry is a joke. It is over regulated. I wish that every other trade in America heard the same hours of service....drug tested etc.
Many Doctors, Politicians and many other occupations would be short of participants also. It makes me sick... every one just rolls over and sucks it up because of a few idiots. I'm retiring. Tired of the government....this country would never have been built with the dummies we have running the country now.
    Lol
