Us outside it's pyramid must KNOW SOMEONE within the pyramid to receive preferential service otherwise we are SFTB (Shit For The Birds!) See ya'll in Emergency waiting hours while druggies and illegal immigrants receive "head of the line" treatment priorities! Sad that self-inflicted casualties receive ANY EMERGENCY ATTENDANCE without having to pay for it "out of pocket"? No Longer have a "Family Doctor" this due to Retirement, Illness, Relocation, but importantly to New Doctors Not Having to do Mandatory Family Practice prior to Specializing. Every Person has a RIGHT to a FAMILY Doctor - NOWis the Time for Politicians to DELIVER & MAINTAIN that RIGHT for ONE & ALL FOREVER. And not Water it down with Physician's Assistant or Practical Nurses, but full fledged MD's access in all regions of the Province & the Country..If necessary dictate where when & how long doctors get to work as part of their Medical Licence to practice.

This urgent care facility will help, but it will not be providing family doctors. This is urgent care - not family practice. Plus, what about other areas? Esquimalt will be down to only 3 GPs at the end of the year. These are in a walk in clinic - the only one that will be left after December.
