America is built on the rule of law. Getting your voting rights revoked for breaking the law is perfectly just.

Getting your voting rights taken away after you've served your time is unconscionable. I might support a short probationary period, but never full disenfranchisement.

Unless you've committed some sort of voting fraud, I don't think you should lose your voting rights, even if you're currently serving your time.

This isn't a "law and order" situation, but a racial one — 1 in 13 black citizens have lost their voting rights, versus 1 in 56 non-black citizens. Felon disenfranchisement is black voter suppression, and must be stopped.
