Honestly, I'm just happy season 8 wasn't voted the least. Granted, it DID have some hiccups, but it was still a great season after the MLP movie.

Impossible. Too much great stuff is scattered almost at random among the seasons to make any kind of valid judgement. In my opinion! It's often hard enough to decide whether or not one show is better than another, let alone whole seasons.

4-5-2-3-7-(1/8)-6
4-5 = Top Tier, The Best Period of the show.
2-3 = The Fandom's Golden Age.
7 = First third of season was poor, but the next two thirds were brilliant.
(1/8) = I don't know which i'd rank higher, but overall still good seasons.
6 = The only season that i'd call bad.

If we talk about quantity episodes with good quality, I would say the 5th one. But the season 4th had a great epic battle and the hey holders was a great adventure arc. So, my vote is for 4th season.
S4 and S7 are tied as my favorite seasons, with the S5 coming close third. S8, S2 and S3 are quite interchangeable actually for me. Least favorite seasons it's a tie between S1 and S6 and they are at the bottom for different AND similar reasons.

Season 2 is indeed classic and a great season overall, but seasons 4 and 5 had the most amount of world building, lore, and character development.
