Is Thanksgiving Day a plot to sell overstocked turkeys?

No one likes turkey. The only time I eat turkey is when I have a cold cut sandwich once a year, and even then it's only good because it's pumped with water, hormones, and usually some "honey" or "roasted" with some liquid smoke. So I guess I don't even like turkey cold cuts, I only like honey and smoked flavor, with turkey being the vehicle for the flavor. Turkey is pretty bad, and big turkey (lol) probably needed a way to purge their supplies of these big animals that provided a lot of food for people who didn't want it.

I believe it could be a conspiracy akin to the farming industry selling eggs as a breakfast food. Why not?
