Will 2019 Blazer production in Mexico prevent your from buying one?

I have had a Chevy Trailblazer for 15 years. Great vehicle with no major problems. I knew it was time for a new vehicle and was so excited to hear of the Blazer's return. Since GM stopped making the Trailblazer, there wasn't anything the same size, so the Blazer was definitely going to be my next vehicle purchase. Mexico build totally slammed on the brakes for me. I still haven't bought anything yet because of that. The Traverse is too big and the Equinox is too small. Thanks GM for disappointing a life-long Chevy driver (2 Cavaliers, 1 S-10, 1 Trailblazer.)

Looking for a new SUV test drove the Blazer liked it was on my list to purchase then found out it was built in Mexico it’s off my list looking for something different.

Should be made in America , thereby setting an example for other manufacturers to do the same. I was hoping the "new " Blazer would look like the old classic Blazer. This doesn't look any different than your current SUV's. Disappointing!

When GM and other companies in America finally succeed in moving as many jobs as possible out of America to fill their corporate greed, WHO will be left that can afford to purchase their products?

I work at GM Lordstown plant. I am beyond words at this point. Have 25 years in and have been off work since June. Everyone in our tir county area buys GM. Well that is going to change because people are tired of what GM is doing to families and communities they are destroying the fabric of our country. If they don’t want to build them here and pay a decent living wage then we are not going to continue to buy their product. If they can’t support us we are not going to support them. Trust me they will be on loosing end!

Been driving for over 30 years.
I do not work for GM or have any GM employees in my family (so have never received an employee discount).

My parents, inlaws, brother's family, etc have always bought GM (and have never owned anything but a GM).

I currently own a Chevy Trailblazer & a Chevy Equinox. Just starting to look for a replacement for the Trailblazer (which I was planning to replace with a brand new Chevy Blazer when they were released).

With the announcement of GM closing the Oshawa plant - there is not a chance in Hell of me ever purchasing another GM again.

If GM wants to give the middle finger to Oshawa, then I'll give the middle finger right back. Every GM owner I know is stating the exact same thing.

All I can say is good luck to GM with their Sales in this country after the plant closes

I do love the new GMC Terrain, but found out it too is made in Mexico. I will no longer be making that purchase.

SOLD IN AMERICAN NEEDS TO MEAN MADE IN AMERICA. PERIOD! If China wants to keep selling us the same junk they do now, they need to put up plants in the U.S. and let Americans make it. And if the American car industry wants a law passed mandating that, hopefully they learned something from the '70s and understand that although China builds junk now just like the U.S, car industry did back then, they don't go on strike all the time so at least there is always something available for purchase. It's really difficult for the bulk of America to support laws protecting American industry if that very same industry is screwing the people supporting them. Although nowhere nearly as bad as getting spit on when they returned home, those guys that got sent to 'Nam only to return in 1970 to find out some plant was on strike, so that high compression Chevelle they'd swore they'd own if they could just make it back alive was lost to a union for the rest of 1970, then to the EPA in 1971 and forever after that. Still, it's our money that is spent to purchase a new Tahoe, not Mary Bara's, not GM's, and damn sure not GM's stockholder's - they took the risk hoping they'd gamble their way into getting more money for essentially doing nothing at all. But since the guy with the loan payment on the Tahoe just wants what he is trying to pay for (less the four recalls on the one I bought), then at least give him the opportunity to work it off at the business he is supporting with HIS money. To do that, that Tahoe must be MADE IN AMERICA IF IT'S SOLD IN AMERICA.

It’s time for the UAW to get rid of multi tier pay. The UAW lost so much to get GM out of the bail out era. Now GM just takes complete factories out of the USA ? NO, No, no..

Too many GM board members and shareholders are globalists. (You can thank the Obama administration for that). Like GM, many American companies are filled with people who have no regard for American families or our values. We hear a lot of talk about draining the swamp in Washington, we also need to drain our corporations of leaders who make huge profits off the people whom they also stab in the back. Make Nationalism Great Again!!

I lost a lot of confidence in GM upper Managment. The way they handled this change. They easily forget where their bread Is buttered. I know all corporations need to make money. But they put profit before AMERICAN WORKERS. They need to remember that without our help there might not be a GM today I’m confident they could have retained these workers by doing thing a little differently.

Was going to buy one but now I won't since they're made in Mexico GM needs to re-employ the people they are laying off.

GM used American people ‘s money for the bailout now GM needs to build their vehicles in America.
