Thank god nobody’s brought up “I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”. The right hates It because it promotes promiscuity, while the left are enraged, claiming it’s slut shaming in action!

This is absolutely ridiculous! There are more important things to worry about instead of the lyrics of a 50 year old Christmas song!!! Give it up already, this is getting stupid!

Of course, it should be put back on! It was almost 75 years ago and is a flirtatious ditty, representative of the era. Banning this song because some people interpret it as contentious if ludicrous. Are we now to ban and burn books that don't live us to a group's POV... wait - that probably means we would have to burn most as there must be some groups out there that have problems with almost any book... or song... or culture... or tradition... or belief. Kind of like the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China (1966-1976) under Mao Zedong.

He has obviously kidnapped her and is now trying to viciously rape her.

Another perfect example of political correctness gone MAD and some individuals with overwhelming insecurity issues DICTATING their personal scrutiny issues with anything including a 74 year old Christmas song ...... sorry , HOLIDAY song !

Yes! The song has always felt to me like it was a flirtatious interchange between lovers, not some kind of non-consensual sexual encounter.

It's quite obvious the people of Canada have spoken, yet the corporate powers (at be) ignore us. This is a perfect example of the MINORITY controlling the MAJORITY.

The poll says it all. Surprised how reactionary the stations became. Did they read the lyrics and consider the setting in the 40’s ? The real result is I’ve listened to the song far more than any other time and have it on my personal streamed playlist. Great tune

I grew up with this song and it’s been on the radio for over 65 yrs. Get a life people!!!

Some radio station in Ohio takes it off the air and all of a sudden it is a 1st World crisis in Canada. We sure are shallow little people aren’t we?

For the few people that are that bored to complain please go find a hobby to keep yourself busy. This is getting beyond ridiculous. I think the poll results overwhelmingly agree with me.

Of course it should be back on the air. I have never seen anything so dumb. It's an old Christmas song and should be left alone. Very childish.
