Apollo 8, America's first successful flight to the moon, happened 50 years ago this Christmas Eve. Should we go back?
There's always something to be said to expanding our knowledge of the world around us... or in this case, worlds around our world.
It's far too expensive to send people to the moon. That money is better used for more practical applications, like public education or our healthcare system.
We're doing enough space exploration now, which I enjoy. Plus, there's little reason to send actual people to the moon, when we have better robots who can do just as much research.
Enough of space — let's explore the deep oceans and below the earth's crust instead. How about getting to know our own hunk of rock better?
We've never been to the moon — NASA is just trying to hide the fact the Earth is flat by pretending we've been up in space.
