The problem with complaining about Russian "tampering" is that they didn't actually DO anything--they just made comments. Pathetic, ignorant, racist comments at that. There certainly is a right to free speech in the US. Had an American made the exact same comments, there would have been no issue, but the content would have been identical. No, the real problem is that Americans may have believed the comments. In that case, the fault is ours, not the Russians.
