The poll does not matter. View it as something intensely entertaining, but nothing more than that.
1.Look at the poll numbers. 60,000+ people in California do not give more than 2 shits to this poll. There are clearly macros being used to speed up the voting process(which you can do ~25 times every 2 hrs). Maybe people are changing their ip addresses to increase the rate at which they can vote, maybe they're just botting to maximize efficiency. Either way, the vote's a fucking fraud and I sincerely hope you don't give a shit because no one should give a shit about a clearly illegitimate poll.
2.The poll doesn't matter. Look: The results of the poll are not going to dictate which runner is actually the top runner, not that anyone knows what "top" means.... In previous articles about the "top" runners Milesplit has stated that its rankings are subjective. Yeah it's fun to support your teammate(s) or your relative(s?) with other people you know but there should be no worry that this poll will make any kind of noticeable difference in the careers of these runners. The results of this poll on ca.Milesplit.com will not dictate what college these runners will go to or their future times or their lives or anything.
3.I just wanted to state the poll is super funny. Like look at the numbers. Look at them. Just imagine someone taking time out of their day to set up a macro for this. Just imagine it. They could have spent anywhere from an hour to several on this "worthy cause". And then realize that compared to this fanboy/fangirl your devotion to this voting cause is nothing. Then leave.

I want to make a clarifying announcement. My comments on the Jackson Sucks Association are a bit of an inside joke. I run a Twitter account called King Andrew The Worst where I roast President ANDREW Jackson, which started out as a joke for a project in history class. If you look back at the comments, it was Team Worthy that originally accused Team Peattie of cheating... despite a few comments defending the savior of the cross country realm... most comments have been positive...!
I don’t see any negativity, just normal team spirit from every side. If anything, the only negativity I see is from other teams slandering team Peattie (as you literally just did). The rest is satirical, ironical, or obvious humor.
Also everybody here understands this poll doesn’t determine who is faster. The runners on the poll understand that.
