  • Mason boys – The Comet guys have a 9-0 record through Dec. 29, after winning the Loveland Holiday Tournament by beating Springboro behind Landon Long’s 19 points.

  • Princeton girls – The Viking ladies are undefeated going into the new year and lead the Greater Miami Conference with a 10-0 record (5-0, GMC). Ashley Davis and Kyla Oldacre lead them offensively with an average of 14.4 and 11.2 points respectively.

  • Purcell Marian girls – The Cavalier ladies are 10-1, with their only loss coming against Carroll Dec. 6. Amil Ali-Shakir leads them in scoring and is on the league leaderboard in three categories, coming in first in steals.

  • Aiken boys – Currently leading the tough Cincinnati Metro Athletic conference with a 9-1 overall record (3-0 in league), their only loss came from Loveland in overtime in week two. D’Arris Dean leads them offensively with 19.5 ppg, good for fifth in the league.
