Cole Wilson, Northeastern wrestling: Placed second in the 120-pound class during the Trojan Wars tourney Dec. 28 and 29 at Chambersburg. Wilson opened the event with two falls, each in less than 33 seconds, and won two decisions to reach the final. 47% (1,357 votes)
Carter Day, Kennard-Dale basketball: Scored a game-high 23 points on Friday as the Rams slipped by host York Suburban by two points in overtime. Day hit five 3-pointers in the game and scored the game-winning layup in overtime. 3% (75 votes)
Cameron Speed, Central York swimming: Won the 100 fly and 500 free on Jan. 3 as the Panthers downed visiting Spring Grove in a dual meet. Speed won the 100 fly in 53.59 and the 500 free in 5:03.90. The junior also captured the 100 back and 100 free during Friday's dual meet with Governor Mifflin. 12% (345 votes)
Raymond Christas, Dallastown wrestling: Captured the 285-pound title during the Knockout Christmas Classic at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, FL on Dec. 28 and 29. Christas is 14-0 on the season after going 37-4 a year ago. 19% (541 votes)
Elijah Sutton, Dover basketball: Scored a game-high 42 points on Jan. 3 as the Eagles earned a 15-point win against Donegal. Sutton, who made 11 of his team's 18 field goals and connected on three 3-pointers, eclipsed 1,000 career points in the game. He also scored a game-high 24 points against Northeastern the day before. 14% (397 votes)
Braden Richard, Central York basketball: Finished with a team-high 23 points on Dec. 29 as the Panthers defeated West Philadelphia by 18 points. Richard also scored a game-high 18 points on Jan. 3 in a road win over Cedar Cliff. 6% (174 votes)
