I’m in almost this position, but 1099, my truck, their authority, no ability to affect the rates. Always looking for something even a little better. I just like the local driver life too much.

Is't W2's where the companies deduct taxes on what you were paid? 1099 just shows what they paid the truck/driver, no deductions.

26% have got w/2 I’d bet if you look into this your 26% is way to high I bet pollster didn’t know difference of w/2 to 1099 lol
