    insanity
want bed get it from upfitter
we don't need another poluter running empty 6500 around town to show off and take space
I have this on my farm to stop 36000 lb with class 6-7 brakes I'd prefer it with air brakes which is not an option before using semi. where hauling 36,000 is again a waste. you can pull weight with anything e.g modern train can pull 100 of 125.5 ton (286,000lb) each railorad cars to speed of 55 miles/hour its the three-five miles stopping distance to dead stop. 80,000lb semi tractor trailes takes three+ football fields to sbring to dead stop from 55mph
Purpose of these class trucks is to have brakes to stop the weight on roads not to have 6x5 ft floorplan beds
running around town with 10mpg mileage.
Get real people, just because something can be done it does not mean it should.
Its time to implement empty truck nonbusiness use triple tax with scales to check weight if you are running only empty

if Chevrolet can get this to market I could personally sell 300 with the factory bed just here in east Tennessee . I would purchase two of them right now

OH YEAH, an 8' bed on a do it all 4 wheel drive truck! In reality and considering the cost of an 3500, another 10 to 15 K isn't an issue. Upon making the Medium Duty available with a bed, GM will have a Home Run!

Also need removable rear seats on crew cabs. The remaining seat brackets should allow installation of other accessory tool storage etc.

More of us are buying bigger toy haulers and car haulers to enjoy. It would be appropriate to have a larger capacity hauler for these luxuries. Having a bed would from the factory would add stowage. Great idea. Plus the bigger trucks will be super popular when the new ugly 2500 and 3500 hd’s come out.
