I have had a couple of these over the years and the only one worth considering is the first year model. It was the only year that had a fully cast iron engine. That being said, they still are beasts that wallow around and are underpowered by today's standards. Cadillac shot themselves in the foot when they started playing around with aluminium engines and then decided to ignore the problem and piss off their customers.

All that being said, I still like the look of the car. Its formal lines always attracted me. The interior was meh, but pretty typical for the time.It was a comfortable car with plenty of room and fair performance. This "Euro" version is the worst of the bunch (IMO). It takes all the things that said Cadillac "elegance" (white wall tires, chrome accents, padded roof, more chrome accents and some nice two-tone color schemes) and replaces them with a black monochrome look that it just doesn't carry off very well. Whatever performance upgrades they made were pretty lame and were never going to elevate the car into being a BMW or Mercedes threat.

Good luck to the seller in trying to get that type of coin for this posser of a car. I think it's overpriced by about 30% and will only appeal to a very specific and narrow slice of the Caddy enthusiast marketplace.
