Buy a Toyota, they will never move to Mexico. They will also outlive any GM vehicle period.

I own two GMC 2500 heavy duty trucks. One made in Oshawa and one from Indiana US. The quality of the Canadian built truck is much better. I had been looking to purchase a new 2500 Denali ( diesel) but for me there is no choice but to cancel those plans. The new push toward electric vehicles is useless for those of us in the rural and northern Ontario farm areas. We also haul a large fifth wheel and need power and the ability to travel long distances without having to take a lot of time looking for recharging stations that are placed in areas that are difficult to access because they are set up for small vehicles.

GM still employs thousands in Ingersoll as well as tens of thousands in dealerships across Canada.
