This man said, "I went to his office fully ready, to suck his dick." he wasn't doing it to save the event which at that point they all knew would not happen. I also watched both FYRE documentaries I found them both so fascinating. I remember when this showed up on my timelines, I wasn't even moved by it and just kept it pushing. Because of that I underestimated how big this was. Both documentaries are definitely an indictment on the "influencer culture". Which unfortunately is so relevant because it runs parallel to the phenomenon of fake news and micro-targeted ads. It feeds on consumerism and people's insecurities. The real victims are those who worked and didn't get paid. Those Bahamians got messed over! That really pissed me off. As for Ja Rule he should be held accountable as well. He is guilty of using his name and influence to get people to believe in the festival and fork over thousands of dollars. I don't really see how he isn't being sued for fraud too. That Billy dude is the epitome of narcissism and white privilege! He will probably be scamming folks in prison.
