Just as Michelangelo was a soul “tortured” to create sculptural art from a marble mass, so too were Freddie Mercury and his Queen band members “tortured” souls to create masterpiece musical compositions. Rami Malek deserves to win the Oscar for “Best Actor” because he captured the psychic spirit, emotional intelligence and physical movements of Freddie Mercury, who was a musical genius, in my opinion. Bohemian Rhapsody deserves to win “Best Movie” because it nuanced the ups and downs of the band’s good times/hard times, even though every detail might not have been 100% factual to the band’s past. Queen’s music “spoke” to the Baby Boomer generation (I am 1 of those) as well as generations that followed. I know guys and gals in their 30’s and 40’s who love Queen’s songs! I am praying for Rami Malek to get voted “Best Actor” and Bohemian Rhapsody to be chosen “Best Movie”. Thank you for allowing me to express my thoughts.

Bohemian Rhapsody was a terrible film. If you want an over saturated and formulaic film on events that didn’t happen, then that’s the movie for you. Though Rami Malek was the only redeeming quality in the movie, it was a space ship to nowhere.

If you want to predict without box office bias, then look no further to other quality movies like Green Book or BlacKkKlansman. Those movies not only depicted true stories, but also captured the aesthetic of what it means to be a true to form movie. Solid acting all around in both movies, should be a toss up between these two, and Roma.

Lastly, it’s a shame that Eighth Grade, Sorry To Bother You, If Beale Street Could Talk, and First Man we’re snubbed by joker movies (comparatively) such as Vice, Black Panther, and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Rami Malek how talented to inhabit and capture the movement and mannerisms Of Freddie Mercury brilliant performance . Bohemian Rhapsody is a hit at the box office ! Give it the ovation it truly deserves !

A very heart felt drama, even though it takes place in the 1960's you can sill see after 58 years that we are
still dealing with the same stuff today. The movie brings out different messages but the main one is people
are afraid to change and accepted how we are instead of what we look like.
