2019 Sierra slt 5.3, 27,000 miles. fuel nozzles get stuck in the inlet AND the pump will not fill the tank unless i literally pump really small amounts of fuel at a time. It seems to shut the pump off even though its empty...wtf?

The little flap broke and it cost me $702. This is a built in problem and poor design that I have to pay for

2017 chevy silverado 1500 short bed reg cab. capless is junk, trouble from the beginning. and now, the small door flap on the filler, does not close completely, stay open half way. now i am afraid one day this little flap will break off and drop into the gas tank. thank god a company makes a rubber cap that fits over the filler tube, it seals the fuel tank gm should have a recall on this awful capless filler tube. gm should recall all the capless fuel tube and replace the fuel tube at no cost.

2020 new XT4. Both times we have filled the car, the automatic shut off works on the pump but gas spills out after it shuts off.

Capless is a stupid idea for stupid people who lose their gas caps. 2017 Tahoe filler neck has failed. Coded P0455. Dealer says $1200. Yours will fail too and then you will know how I feel.

When trying to put gas in tank, gas keeps spitting back & turning off pump. Can’t get pump to run. Have to hold nozzle, can’t use the automatic fill. Seems even worse if I try to fill up before down to a half tank. Hard to put nozzle in gas tank, feel like it’s going to get stuck & cant get it out. I hate my Equinox because of this. Spend 15 minutes trying to put gas in tank. Embarrassing with others waiting on me.

2018 Encore - Every time I fill up fuel spits back out of the filler neck and down the side of the car. Very annoying and a possibly a safety issue. Seems like the fuel nozzle does not go in to the filler neck far enough to "trip" off the flow of fuel before it overflows. I mentioned this to the dealer on 2 occasions to no avail.

I have no way of protecting my 2018 camaro from someone adding harmful things to my gas tank. I could go to the throuble of changing the whole outside fuel door to a locking one but that is big hazzle
IMPORTANT: The Camaro when sold for the European market has a locking gas cap but there is a different wiring harness since it actuates with car door locks
Also Ford offers one for their capless gas systems but this will not work on GM cars

Come on GM please spend a couple bucks and come up with one like Ford for my car that is in Canada

I recently bought 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. We drove 7400 miles throughout the US. Each and every time I filled up, the fuel would spit back out the filler neck and down the side of the truck. Very annoying and a possible safety issue. Will take truck to dealer at first chance.

The only trouble I can foresee is security of the gas itself since there is no inside release for access to the fuel fillup or a way to install a lockable gas cap. Is there anyway to prevent gas thief short of drilling and installing a keyed lock on the fuel cap door? Any GM product available for this? Or aftermarket product? Please respond.
