MAGA is akin to a Confederate flag, a Nazi swastika, or an out and out racial slur. If the majority of people were wearing Make America Great Again merchandise and were doing things like feeding the homeless, helping to to fill sandbags to prevent flooding during a storm, or building habitats for humanity, then I would say that Trump and his racist supporters appropriated MAGA and is turning it into something evil. But the creation of MAGA has been and always been about protecting the white, cis het, male order in this country. Make America Great Again my black ass.
