Verrett will never be a reliable option with his injury history. Perryman deserves a prove it contract, especially since we are thin at LB. Philon is a great rotational DT and showed flashes. Mebane is a tough one as he has leadership but he isn't what he used to be. It was obvious that Mike William's emergence makes Tyrell expendable. Tyrell will not be a charger next year. Last but not least Adrian Phillip's. He needs to be resigned. Great leader on the field. Essential to special teams. He deserves a contract. The Chargers need to he aggressive at getting a OT and LB this off season. Protecting Rivers down the stretch and stopping the run. Fix those two issues and Chargers are top team in the NFL. Bolt up!

Verrett is a top corner when healthy. A one or two year contract is ideal, as long as it is team friendly and not too expensive. Gates as well, another one year deal would be the best option. Phillips has shown he has potential to even start at safety, and as a pro bowler he deserves another contract. We need a DT so resigning one of the younger guys in Philon and Square is a must. I think Philon is better. Perryman has always been a vocal leader of the defense and good against the run. I think we coukd bring him back on, to help with Nwosu and Whites development. Williams would be great to have back but if hes searching for number one receiver money he'll have to look elsewhere.
